DC® Technology (Displacement Control) developed by Canton to prevents the uncontrolled movement of the woofer cone at subsonic frequencies.
Benefits are: Cleaner sound, more defined bass and reduced distortions.

SC® Technology redefines the relationship between speaker cabinet volume and bass reproduction by using individual filters to extend the speaker’s transmission range by an octave and more downwards with unbelievable level of consistency.

TCC® (Triple curved cone) is yet another innovation from Canton. The clever detailed improvement with its special design – a triple twisted cone membrane-limits the material resonance of the membrane and thus reduces the rub and buzz distortion.

Wave Surround® The suspension system attached to the cone of a woofer or midrange is called the surround. The shape and material of the surround affect the system’s overall performance. Canton’s precise computer modeling allows for optimization of all properties of the surround, greatly improving performance. Canton patented multi-curved wave shape reduces resonance and increases excursion capabilities for better frequency response and higher output levels with lower levels of distortion. The surround is made of butyl rubber for flexibility and longevity.
Technologie RC

 
Avec la technologie RC, résultat de l'évolution de la technologie SC, Canton a réussi de manière exemplaire à redresser les distorsions de la réponse électroacoustique. RC signifie "Room Compensation", c'est-à-dire la compensation des facteurs d'influence de la pièce d'audition et l'adaptation de la sonorité aux caractéristiques de celle-ci.
 

ICEpower® digital amplification (In short) Subwoofer power amplifiers should be capable of delivering high output levels. With conventional amplifiers, maximum output is restricted by mechanical size and heat emissions. The largest Canton subwoofers use ICEpower® digital amplifier, which can deliver high performance and high output levels thanks to their state of the art, reliable, digital circuitry. These special digital amplifiers are extremely efficient compared to conventional designs and generate almost no heat.

La technologie Virtual Surround permet la génération d’un champ sonore 5.1
Surround vaste et différencié avec seulement une/trois sources sonores. Ceci est
possible grâce au traitement intelligent des sons avec un algorythme spécifique et aux haut-parleurs à dispersion adaptée. Résultat : on obtient le même front d’onde à l’oreille que pour les systèmes Surround classiques avec cinq haut-parleurs et un subwoofer. En outre, les systèmes sont munis d’excellentes propriétés stéréo et remplacent entièrement le récepteur AV classique grâce à l’ampli et au syntoniseur intégrés.
